Committee Officers
The Mendon Republican Committee is guided by a dedicated leadership team, elected by the membership, who work year-round to support Republican values, elect quality candidates, and engage our community. These officers serve as the stewards of our mission and represent the Committee in our town, county and state party structures.
Lauren Smith
Chair
The Chair oversees the affairs, business, and operations of the Mendon Republican Committee, ensuring the organization runs effectively and in alignment with its mission. They preside over all Committee and Executive Committee meetings, providing leadership, direction, and coordination among members. The Chair also serves ex officio on all town committees, promoting collaboration and consistency across Republican initiatives in Mendon.
Katrina Allen
Vice-Chair
The Vice-Chair assists the Chair in all duties, and steps in to lead when the Chair is unavailable. They often oversee special initiatives—such as candidate recruitment, volunteer mobilization, or membership engagement—and ensure our internal operations run smoothly.
Nicole Sayers
Town Leader
The Town Leader serves as the chief political spokesperson for the Mendon Republican Party and coordinates the Committee’s local political strategy. They act as a liaison to the Monroe County Republican Committee, reporting on county-level initiatives and ensuring Mendon’s interests are well represented. The Town Leader also participates in or designates attendance at county executive meetings and serves ex officio on all town committees, promoting collaboration and unity across Republican efforts.
Danny Bassette
Secretary
The Secretary maintains all official records of the Committee—meeting minutes, membership records, correspondence, and internal documentation. This ensures transparency, efficiency and compliance with our Bylaws. The Secretary also handles official Committee communications and notifications.
Danielle Liberatore
Treasurer
The Treasurer oversees all financial matters of the Committee—including budgeting, fundraising, expenditure tracking, reporting, and compliance with campaign or party finance rules. The Treasurer works closely with the rest of the leadership team and provides regular finance updates to the membership.
